Thermostat's - Pobice

Here's a rant I've never go around to posting before for some reason.

Thermostat's - what is it about them that people find so hard to understand? Look to use the you set them to something like 20°C and well leave it. If this is too hot change it down a little, if its too cold put it up a little (after giving the heating/cooling - not here to judge, chance to have an effect). Most of them will either click or indicate to you to let you know they been triggered on/off.

No what a lot of people do is whack them on full when it cold ensuring them room reaches an unbearable temperature. When they finally notice that metal objects are starting to melt they whack it on the lowest possible setting and the room gets unbearably cold. They then complain that the place is never the right temperature - well duh.
