Weather - junior

It's what us Brits like to talk about the most: Weather. It's not as if we're the only ones with a variable and often crappy climate, although this pokey island of ours does seem to be notorious for it.

It rains, a lot. Or at least it seems like it in some places, even if they don't come anywhere near the top of the Rainfall Top 20 Chart we moan because it drizzles all of the time.

We get snow, and suddenly the transport systems come to a halt. It's not like this country has never had snow before. The last "big" snowfall was in the 80s, I think. I don't know for sure because I was only a little nipper and have slept since then. We've certainly had little bits inbetween. Other countries get more snow than we do pretty much every year, yet they can still run trains. Why is our public transport so inadequate?

Oh, and I cycled to and from work today for the first time in a while. Guess what - it was bloody cold and a little bit icy in the morning, and it pissed it down in the evening.
