iTunes - The Puppet Master

Right first of all don't start pointing out mac PC stuff coz you know it gonna be lost on me.
The point is I wanted to legally download some songs (because I am a good catholic lad and am going to heaven) Don't bother stating the obviouse damning hobby I have
Anyway I down loaded sopme somes but since i dont have an iPod, (yes once again dont bother) I needed to burn some cd firstly to put the songs back on my laptop as a compatable format but also so I had them on cd for steroes, anyway it doesnt seem to have worked as the cds have been written but they wont play. how do i change them into acompatable fomate please???? Honestly give me radiograms anyday!!!!
